Best way to start the morning is a stop at Jack's Coffee in Amagansett. Not only do they have the best coffee, but are also dog friendly (and open early for puppy wake-up times).

Dipping one's paws in

Next up is a beach walk on Main Beach in East Hampton, as Sister loves the water. In the winter months dogs are permitted on the beach, but in the summer it is only before 9am.

Our daughter James wanted a sister so bad, hence the name Sister. Like true sisters, James likes Sister’s opinion when shopping on Main Street in East Hampton.

After shopping on Main, we always stop at the best bakery in the Hamptons - Carissa’s.

With gold leaf cakes and pistachio croissants, it’s hard to choose what to get. Sister is patient whilst we decide, hoping for a crumb to fall.

After a moment of rest, we walk to the dock to enjoy the sunset, run around and watch the geese fly by.

Our home in East Hampton is on Hook Pond and it supplies an endless scenic naturescape to wonder at. With deer, turkeys, geese, and bunnies, Sister’s nose has endless possibilities to sniff around.
